Shipping + Returns


When will my order be ready for pick up? When will my order ship?

As soon as you place your order, I begin prepping your piece for pickup or delivery. This includes polishing and packing your non-custom piece or preparing to complete your custom-size piece. This prep time varies depending on the complexity of your piece & my current workload.

Current Prep Times:

  • Most pieces – 1 to 5 days.

  • Custom-Size Bracelets & Necklaces – Varies between 1 to 4 weeks after I receive your measurements (specific times are listed in the product details for each piece).

  • Rings – Up to 4 weeks

  • Custom – The earlier you can contact me to begin custom work the better. Please allow for sufficient time if you need your piece by a specific date.

Feel free to send me a quick email ainsley@oreander.com to find out if I can speed up the current prep times. I’ve even been known to squeeze in the occasional local delivery myself!

Pickup

If pickup is selected at checkout, you’ll receive an email when your order is ready with some time options for scheduling your pickup.

Shipping Time

When selecting your shipping option, keep in mind that Prep Time + Shipping Time = The length of time it will take for your order to arrive.

Shipping time options listed at checkout are based on posted Canada Post shipping speeds. I can’t guarantee shipping speed after a package has been delivered to the carrier.

When your order has shipped you’ll receive an email notification with a tracking number.

It’s important to make sure the correct shipping address is entered. I’m not responsible for undeliverable packages. In the case of a returned package, return fees will apply.

Returns

Returns are accepted for 30 days and can be requested by email to oreanderjewelry@gmail.com.

Jewelry not eligible for return includes custom pieces, custom-size bracelets & necklaces, pieces with custom initials, rings, earrings (hygienic reasons) and pieces with leather.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. If you’re return is approved, a credit will be applied to your original method of payment (credit card refunds can take up to 30 days to appear on your statement).

Exchanges

Adjustable-size bracelets can be exchanged for custom-size bracelets within 30 days after pickup/delivery.

Necklace chains can be exchanged for a different length within 30 days after pickup/delivery (custom-size & leather styles excluded).

Jewelry not eligible for exchange includes custom pieces, custom-size bracelets & necklaces, pieces with custom initials, rings, earrings (hygienic reasons) and pieces with leather.

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it.

Resizing

Custom-size bracelets and necklaces are eligible for a complimentary size adjustment within 30 days (excluding leather styles since these can’t be altered after they’ve been sized).

Rings are not eligible for resizing. However minor size reductions or increases might be possible in some circumstances. Please email me ainsley@oreander.com if you have a question about resizing.

*Do not attempt to resize any ring yourself. Ring bands bent without the proper tools can result in metal weakness and will not be eligible for refund if damaged while trying to resize yourself.

S*** Happens

Defective items will be accepted for return or exchange within 30 days after pickup/delivery.

If you have an unfortunate experience with a chain breaking, please email me ainsley@oreander.com right away and we can discuss a solution. While items more than 30 days old will not be replaced or refunded, I might be able to recommend a simple fix or a discount for replacement components.

* Keep in mind that leather cords don’t last forever. Consider replacing cords when they begin looking worn to avoid losing jewelry.

Return Shipping

All shipping costs for are non-refundable.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning or exchanging your item. Ship your item to Oreander Jewelry, 210-1600 Kenaston Blvd, Suite #187, Winnipeg MB, R3P 0Y4, Canada.

For items over $100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance since I can’t guarantee I’ll receive your returned item.
