necklaces

To determine your minimum recommended chain length, wrap a string around your neck and pinch where the string overlaps. Measure the length with a ruler and add 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10cm).

When selecting necklace lengths, consider body build since necklaces will hang differently on different body frames. For example, when selecting a chain to fall on the collar bone, consider selecting a 16” (41cm) length for a small or petite frame, 18” (46cm) for an average or athletic frame, and 20-22” (51-56cm) for a taller or wider frame.

Refer to the images below to see how some typical chain lengths will hang.

bracelets

We each experience fit and comfort differently, which is why there are no generalized size categories for Oreander bracelets. All bracelets are made to fit YOU based on your wrist measurements along with your preference for a snug or looser fit.

Adjustable styles are also available, and are recommended when choosing a gift for someone else, or if you prefer some extra dangle.

What happens when I order a Custom-Size bracelet?

1. After placing your order, you’ll receive an email with details to either measure your wrist size or schedule a fitting appointment.

2. Once your wrist measurements and fit preferences have been received your bracelet will be custom made just for you!

Measuring Wrist Size

1. Wrap a soft measuring tape or strip of paper approximately 0.5” / 12 mm snugly around your wrist just below your wrist bone (the area between your hand and the wrist bone).

2. Mark where the end overlaps and measure the length.

3. Write down the measurement in inches or mm. This measurement is your wrist size.

Fitting Appointment

If you’re unsure how to measure your wrist, or would prefer to try on sample sizes, you have the option to schedule a fitting appointment.

What does ‘Adjustable - Fits wrist sizes 5.75 – 7” /14.6 – 17.8 cm’ mean?

These adjustable bracelets are designed to fit a wide range of wrist sizes. The smallest setting may feel slightly loose on a 5.75” wrist and the largest setting may feel slightly snug on a 7” wrist.

If your wrist size falls outside this range, consider selecting a custom-size bracelet.

Not Loving the Feel?

Simply exchange your adjustable bracelet for a custom-size or request to have your custom-size bracelet tweaked within 30 days. See Shipping + Returns for more details.

rings

All Oreander rings are custom-made after you’ve had the opportunity to try on sample sizes. This is the most accurate way to predict how a ring will feel when creating custom-made rings.

What happens when I order a ring?

1. After placing your order, you’ll receive an email with some time options for scheduling a fitting appointment.

2. During the fitting you’ll try on sample rings and select the size that feels the best.

3. Your ring will be custom-made to the size you select and take up to 4 weeks to prepare.

I’d like to order a ring as a gift, what’s the best way to do this?

• If you choose to include a Gift Photo during checkout, a printable photo card of the ring with next-step instructions will be emailed to you within 48 hrs. Once the recipient schedules a fitting appointment the ring will be custom-made to their size.

• Gift cards are also available!

Can I skip the fitting if I already know my size?

Rings are custom-made and non-refundable so it’s not recommended to skip this step.

But it’s up to you - If you’re certain about the size of a ring that fits you well and the band width matches the one you’re ordering you might choose to email your size details to me instead.

Why does band width matter?

Rings with equal sizes will each fit differently depending on the width of the band. For example, a size 7 ring with a thin 2mm band may fit you perfectly but a size 7 ring with a wide 9mm band will likely feel too tight.

Can you resize my ring?

Rings are not eligible for resizing.

However minor size reductions or increases might be possible in some circumstances. Please email me ainsley@oreander.com if you have a question about resizing.

*Do not attempt to resize any ring yourself. Ring bands bent without the proper tools can result in metal weakness and will not be eligible for refund if damaged while trying to resize yourself.
